Galvanized Ceiling Fan How Do I Calculate The Strength Of A Channel Stud?

How do i calculate the strength of a channel stud? - galvanized ceiling fan

I have a roof made of galvanized steel chains, "U" shape 60x27x0.5mm near 80cm, attached to the material weight distributed IBC = 400 kg, with an area of 1600x1600mm.
Suspension onto a concrete ceiling by threaded rods = 6 mm in diameter and galvanized steel anchor bolts embedded in concrete 100 mm.
Please indicate if this structure calculations with material about my weight = 400 kg can deliver.

Thank you.

American Institute of Steel Construction has guidelines for calculating the capacity of the steel. www.aisc.org. May are a member to download information. The capacity depends on several factors. For steel is probably more a starting point rather than strength. Steel can be a little different, and they will not. My guess is that you do not WAN much distraction. To calculate the standard you need to know the moment of inertia of the form. I do not remember the formula from the top of my head, but tables can be found discrepancy in most textbooks on structural analysis.
